About the film
Summer by the sea, one little house, and far too many tenants. An enterprising letting agent has taken money from several different women, each arriving with children and luggage and a plan for a quiet holiday.
Forced to share, the guests argue, form alliances, make up and fall out again. Just as an uneasy peace settles, the real owner comes home from a long voyage, with no idea that his friend has rented out his house.
This is a modern Mosfilm comedy with a strong female cast, closer to a stage farce than to the Soviet classics on this site, and an easy watch for a summer evening.
